Awesome local family owned and operated restaurant. My son and I tried this place on a Saturday evening and it was packed! Despite living in the neighborhood a little over a year, I had yet to try it until recently. I will definitely be going back for sushi and pho on a regular basis :)

My wife & I shared a date night here on Friday & really enjoyed our experience! Our waitress was awesome & really helped answer a lot of questions about the sushi & her recommendations were spot on! The Lisa roll & Amanda roll’s are worth trying if you love crab like we do! Thanks again, we’ll be back soon!

I've only been into sushi for a year or so and I've only been to about 5 sushi places but even with my acute knowledge and experience I thought this place was very good. The menu seemed extensive, the portions were a good size, and the fish was fresh. I will definitely be back :)

I'm pretty picky when it comes to sushi, but I love Mr Lee's. They are always really nice and make sure everything is fresh even when I order to go. I'm super happy with this place and it's always my go to for sushi when I'm craving it!

Food was great! I had the pho and sushi 🍣. Service was good. Decor was fine. I definitely would suggest giving this place a try. Restaurant was clean. Parking was fine. If you’re not really sure what you want to eat, this is the place to be. There’s a lot more on the menu that I would love to try.

My boyfriend had never been here before and enjoyed all the rolls and food we got. We will definitely be coming back. If you're in the area stop by, they have a lunch special and an expansive list of rolls for you to choose from.

The sushi is ok, 3ish/5 stars, but the proportion of sushi you get is quite small for the higher price you pay for it. There are better places for sushi. Their pho is really good, as well as they have a very chill and home-y atmosphere. Also, the time I went I with a friend around lunch-time, we waited around over an hour for the food... Yikes.

As other reviewers stated, the outside really doesn't match the quality and cleanliness you get on the inside. The sushi plates we ordered were very fresh and good quality. The conch roll was a hit with our five year old. All of the employees were pleasant and efficient - dishes came out at just the right pace, and we never had to ask for drink refills. I will definitely be back the next time we're in KC.
